A friend of mine sent me this image (see above) that really captured my attention. I don’t know about you but as 2017 starts I am actively reflecting on my progress toward my own goals towards “CREATING SOMETHING GREAT.” The graphic seemed so true that I printed it out and it is now taped to my office wall.
The picture tracks the emotional roller coaster of anyone seeking to make their mark. This is particularly true for entrepreneurs, but I think it equally applies to people on a career track. How often do young people start in a career filled with ideas of changing the world, but soon find themselves after five or ten years in a swamp or organizational morass, or career stagnation?
